Michael Rainey is the Company Director of Rainey Petrie Johns Ltd who are Architects and Designers based in Newport on the Isle of Wight and in Southampton, Hampshire. He has always had an interest in Local History and Old Park is certainly steeped in it.

Mike prepared the original concept design for the Haddon Lake House, which went forward as part of the Detailed Planning Application for three sites in the locality. He has worked on a number of projects with Creative Landscapes and is always keen to find ways to integrate the architecture with the landscape.

Rainey Petrie Johns Ltd have won many awards over the years for their projects that range from schools and civic buildings to individual one-off houses. Self-build however requires a different type of service. We do not usually provide this and we are delighted that Simon Clark has been able to take the project on with the Client and develop the concept.

As well as being Architects, Rainey Petrie Johns Ltd can provide Quantity Surveying and Cost Planning Services and a full Mechanical and Electrical Engineering Service, both as part of an architectural scheme or independently to other Architects, Developers and Clients.
