Old park is situated within the Isle of Wight Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty 4km to the south-west of Ventnor, and to the south of Undercliff Drive (A3055). The setting consists of dramatic cliffs forming a backdrop to the north, with the coastline immediately to the south. Within the site the land slopes towards the southern boundary. Access to the site from Undercliff Drive is via Old Park Road which approaches it from the east.
