The document is divided into sections. The first deals with the location and geology of the site, the origins of the Old Park estate as a whole and sets out the evidence for the development of the designed landscape. The second part deals with the surviving features of the Old Park landscape in 2003, and assesses its significance in the historic context. The third part focuses on and addresses fully the Lake Site and associated Walled Garden complex, considering their future in separate ownership and potential for restoration.
